Cut-In Square Card Topper SVG Cutz

For your inspiration today I've got a beautiful and unique Easter Spring card featuring the Cherry Blossom Cut-In Square Card Topper SVG Cutz set from my new Windows to Spring Collection. This fun SVG Cutz set is super versatile and easily customized for any occasion.

The Cherry Blossom Cut-In Square Card Topper SVG Cutz set for electronic cutting machines includes everything you need to make a fabulous layered topper for your card fronts and more. The top overlay has a wonderful cut-in Cherry Blossom design of 3 flowers and circles and there's a mat layer that lets you customize the colour of the flowers. The set also includes 3 concentric mat layers to complete your card fronts. This 5 piece set is perfect for your Spring and Easter themed makes and works nicely for your year round crafting needs too!

I chose a beautiful soft floral patterned paper combined with dramatic black to give my Cherry Blossom Easter card a shabby chic Art Deco vibe. Using my Silhouette Cameo 5 electronic cutting machine and the awesome new Electrostatic Mat I cut the square top overlay with the 3 pretty cut-in Cherry Blossom flowers and circles from paper with a vintage light green floral design and applied Salt Water Taffy Distress Ink to the outer edges of the panel and all the flowers and circles.

To give the flowers dimension I curled all the stamens up and applied Diamond Stickles glitter to the panel edges, the stamens and outlined the flowers and circles and put it aside to dry.

Next I cut one of the three concentric mat layers from black cardstock and used it to back the flowers and circles. I decided to trim it a bit smaller to frame the top panel with a more narrow black border. I then added foam tape to the back of the top panel and mounted it onto the black panel to give the card even more dimension.

I then cut a larger mat layer from a peachy coloured cardstock and adhered everything to a white 6 x 6 inch top fold card which I also edged with Salt Water Taffy Distress Ink.

Next I cut the large "Easter Blessings" sentiment by Diamond Press from a sheet of peachy coloured Spellbinders die cutting foam and coloured the top with a black Sharpie marker, applied Diamond Stickles glitter for lots of pretty sparkle and adhered it to the card front with glue. I then embellished the centers of the flowers with 3 mint green self-adhesive pearls to complete my fun and unique Easter card.

Spring Shaker Wreath
Spring Wildflowers Make-a-Wreath

LeighSBDesigner Val is here today to inspire you with her wonderful Spring Shaker Wreath card featuring the Spring Wildflowers Make-a-Wreath SVG Cutz Mega Kit!

The Spring Wildflowers Make-a-Wreath SVG Cutz Mega Kit set is fabulous versatile 42 piece mega kit that includes everything you need to create incredible 3D twig wreaths in various styles and sizes from fully assembled bunny shaped wreaths, bunny and traditional round wreaths to a wonderful bouquet of pretty wildflowers and a variety of floral greenery and a multi-layered bow to decorate them with.

For all her SVG Cutz cutting Val uses her Silhouette Portrait 3 electronic cutting machine and from the SVG Cutz mega kit she cut out the smaller round Twig Wreath from white cardstock and and the matching mat layer from light green cardstock. She coloured the Twig Wreathit with a brown Promarker and a applied a darker Distress Oxide green ink to the edges of the mat layer. She then cut a round piece of clear acetate and adhered it to the back of the Wreath.

Next she cut out the Spring Wildflowers from white cardstock and all the Bow layers from green cardstock. She used Promarkers to colour the Spring Wildflowers in different colours and the layered flower pieces in shades of green with white gel pen details. She applied Distress Oxide green ink to the edges of the Bow layers and added green Promarker detailing. She then curled the layers of the Bow and the Flower as she assembled them to give them dimension then applied Crystal Stickles glitter for a touch of pretty sparkle.

When she cut out Twig Wreath it left a ready made aperture in the cardstock left behind on her cutting mat which was the perfect size to use as the aperture panel for her shaker card. She cut the panel the same size as her top fold base card and coloured the panel with green Distress Oxide ink then adhered the assembled Wreath over the aperture to frame it. She then rubber stamped the words "Spring" and "Easter" onto the panel with black ink.

She then applied foam tape around the outer edges and the aperture opening on the back of the Shaker panel. For her shaker contents she used an assortment of beads and all the pretty Spring Widlflower cut pieces which she then laid in the middle of the front of the folded card base and adhered the Shaker panel on top sealing in the shaker pieces. She then completed her Spring Shaker Wreath card by adhering the layered 3D Bow, 3D Flower and two fussy cut rubber stamped Easter Eggs, she coloured with Promarkers, in place with foam tape for lots of fun dimension.
